MindLumina – Scientifically Formulated for Optimal Brain Function
As we celebrate Hari Warga Emas 2023 on 7th October 2023 (Saturday) at Taman Tasik Cempaka, Bandar Baru Bangi, Aurora Health Sdn Bhd and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia are jointly introducing MindLumina, a dietary supplement to improve cognitive function. MindLumina is a botanical essence that harnesses the power of a traditional herb, Cosmos caudatus. Cosmos caudatus (CC) is known for its nutrients as well as its non-nutritive compounds that have been demonstrated to possess potent antioxidant properties; which could prevent neurodegenerative diseases including dementia. The antioxidant potential of CC has been studied to be attributed to the presence of abundant beneficial phytochemicals in the plant including phenolic acids and flavonoids.
CC has been illustrated to be potentially involved in improving the brain’s ability to think, understand, learn, remember and make decisions. Our research has indicated that the use of the CC supplement has the capacity to improve memory, increase focus and attention, and alleviate tension in individuals with mild cognitive impairments (MCI). Notably, CC’s influence on memory activation and mood improvement is attributed to its antioxidant effects, as evidenced by the reduction of oxidative markers and increased levels of antioxidants in the blood.
